An excerpt from the last speech of Martin Luther King, Jr.  He gave this speech the night before he was murdered, when he was in Memphis to stand in solidarity with striking sanitation workers.  And on this date in 1968, he was assassinated.

If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.

--Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase.

A must watch.  A short, informative video about Dr. Martin Luther King and the Memphis Sanitation Strike of 1968.

However difficult the moment, however frustrating the hour, it will not be long, because truth crushed to earth will rise again. How long? Not long. Because no lie can live forever…How long? Not long. Because the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.
