Alberta Darling: Pants on Fire Liar Rating from Politifact
Of all the ridiculous statements from Alberta Darling during the recall campaigns, perhaps the most absurd, out-of-touch, and frankly, gross, is her insistence that ”Sandy Pasch uses taxpayer dollars to pay for Viagra.” Not surprisingly, Politifact rated her a pants on fire liar for this.
Scott Walker Asserts That Wisconsin’s Domestic Partnership Law is Unconstitutional
Scott Walker is seeking to stop hospital visitation rights for same-sex couples.
Gov. Scott Walker believes a new law that gives gay couples hospital visitation rights violates the state constitution and has asked a judge to allow the state to stop defending it.
Democrats who controlled the Legislature in 2009 changed the law so that same-sex couples could sign up for domestic partnership registries with county clerks to secure some - but not all - of the rights afforded married couples.

John Boehner v. John Boehner
-
John Boehner:Paul Ryan has an idea that's certainly worthy of consideration.
-
John Boehner:I voted for it. I’m for it! I'm for it!
-
John Boehner:It's our idea. Right?
-
John Boehner:It's Paul's idea. Other people have other ideas.

Shame
When the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel endorsed Prosser (for the second time) I initially didn’t think much of it because the paper’s editorial board has been teetering toward Tea Party territory for a while now. But then this caught my eye:
His outburst at Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson - threatening “to destroy” her - will be unforgivable for some voters. He deserved the public flogging he received for it; other justices claimed it wasn’t his first tirade. He should have shown more leadership in turning the court away from its embarrassing squabbling.
But, as we noted in February when we recommended Prosser in the primary, this is the chief’s court. It’s her responsibility to make it work. She bears some of the blame for the tension.
So Prosser called the Chief Justice a bitch. He threatened to “destroy” her. He then added that he felt it was totally warranted. And the Journal Sentinel says she bears the blame and should take some responsibility? Good grief, Journal Sentinel; get it together.
