Wisconsin Republicans Propose Bill to Identify Single Parenthood as Contributing to Child Abuse
A new bill proposed by Republican Glenn Grothman (and co-sponsored by Rep. Pridemore) would require the Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board to “emphasize that non-marital parenthood is a contributing factor to child abuse.”

Top GOP Recall Target Says Those Making Over $250,000 Aren’t Wealthy
I just went to a woman today and she said, “Why are you giving tax breaks to the wealthy?” I said, “What do you consider wealthy?” She said, “$250,000 and above.”
And I said “that is small business.” Those are small business people. Those aren’t wealthy people. We are not interested in raising taxes on the quote “rich.”

Republicans cut off Fred Risser (despite the fact he was recognized to speak) to call roll and pass the voter suppression legislation. Fred Risser has served as a Democratic state Senator since 1962. The man screaming at him is this fine gentleman. And they are responsible for this travesty of a legislative process.
I am outraged and disgusted by the way this was conducted and I urge you to watch at least the first minute of this.
